Mayanglambam Rameshwar Singh has been appointed as Chairman of the Committee on Public Undertakings. Losii Dikho has been appointed as Chairman of the Committee on Government Assurance. Two belonged to the Meitei community and one from Naga.

Manipur BJP MLA Rajkumar Imo Singh has written a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, requesting action against foreign terror links with Manipur-based organizations abroad. Singh mentioned the role of foreign terror groups in creating instability and prolonging the conflict in Manipur.
