Iconic Harrisburg King Mansion with river views has been renovated into stunning venue: Cool Spaces Updated 6:48 AM; Facebook Share The Historic King Mansion at 2201 N. Front Street in Harrisburg is one of the most iconic structures along the Susquehanna Riverfront. The mansion was built in 1923 for Horace B. King, a corporate tax attorney, and his family. The mansion pairs Mediterranean-inspired grandeur with simplistic urban elegance. The home was originally inhabited by King and his family until his death in 1938. It was built with Indiana Limestone to create a Mediterranean-inspired style with the cost of construction between $150,000 and $200,000 which translates to $2.4 to $3 million in current times.
