Phase. Semifinals. Hello there. Very warm welcome to the program. The Saudiled Coalition has launched more strikes in yemen as its military campaign enters a new phase. Houthi leaders have released a statement calling for an immediate halt to those attacks. Fighter jets struck against houthi fighters in tausiz and in aden. Fierce fighting is happening on the ground in aden. But there have been some political developments. The houthi have called for u. N. Talks and have released three generals. Al jazeera is at the border with yemen and says the saudi air strikes are likely to continue as long as the houthis continue their ground campaign. There will be less intensified air strikes but there will be intervention any time its necessary for the saudis and their allies. And according to the reports, the houthis began immediately after the announcement to move their tanks to an area from which they were expelled just days ago including the area of the president ial palace in aden. We havent seen any members of congress get off. We have seen the ten buses or so brought in by security. They have the bottom Luggage Department open. It appears they are open. Can you come down here. We are going to show you a picture on an i phone on a 20second delay. It does look like some members are starting to get off of the amtrak train. This is the first time that we will have seen them. Theyre definitely unloading, it looks like big boxes or crates or something. Youll see it in the distance. Again, this is an i phone picture we are transmitting because all of our crews are in route. We are getting our first look now as people walking off on their own from this train. Theyre at the amtrak station in charlottesville. And we understand that there are a lot more Capitol Police reinforcements with vehicles and
buss that are on their way. The responders right now that were seeing are the local charlottesville police, the Virginia State police and some Capitol Police. On the ground,
Orders to try to capture this man. But apparently a firefight broke out. Handtohand combat he resisted. He was killed in the firefight along with other isis fighters there. His wife captured and taken back to iraq. The big question why this guy, why was it worth risking so much u. S. Military lives to go after him . What we are being told is he was an isis leader if you will in their oil and gas operations. So thats very key. Because of the Financial Impact the financial benefit to isis. But perhaps more serious even there had been a sense by the u. S. That he was increasingly involved in isis command and control. And isis operations. And u. S. Officials are beginning to indicate there may have been a reason to believe he might have been in contact at some point with abu bakr albaghdadi, the very reclusive leader of isis. The guy the u. S.
