MARION — The Heron Cove housing project is getting bigger. The Select Board unanimously endorsed a plan to turn the Heron Cove housing project into a Local Initiative Program development on June 1. The Local Initiative Program, run by the state, encourages the creation of affordable housing by providing assistance to communities and developers working to create affordable rentals, according to mass.gov. I believe just coming from the people standpoint. the other day i moved, i did paperwork with my mom who she passed in 2016 while on campaign trail, her 7-day bill was $56,000 to be in the hospital and she actually worked for the oklahoma state, the state of oklahoma in the initiative program, my father passed away with zero health insurance care. theres a big gap for those who have it and versus who never ask anything from the government that still cant afford to stay in hospital. i think it is...
