The Harris County Sheriff's Office launched an investigation into officers beating an inmate, an incident all caught on camera.

Edward Barber, 42, was sentenced Wednesday to four years of probation for violating an inmates civil rights during a beating in 2019.

Attorneys for the man beaten while in custody released a statement welcoming the indictments.
