Windows Update KB5007262 for Windows 11 has been released as a Cumulative Update. Here is what's new in it.

Microsoft has released the optional KB5007262 Preview cumulative update for Windows 11 with 70 fixes or improvements.

Microsoft recently released an optional update for Windows 10. Due to the holiday break, there won’t be a preview release in December, making this one of the final Windows 10 updates of the year.

Microsoft has now made KB5007262 generally available to all Windows 11 consumers. The update bumps the version up to 22000.348 and adds an updated emoji panel with Fluent 2D style emoji.

Microsoft has now made KB5007253 optional in Windows Update, meaning you can optionally fix a remote printer issue, a 32-bit Excel crash issue, and even fix Internet Explorer that stops working.

Shortly after confirming that one expired Microsoft digital certificate lead to various problems with Windows 11 apps such as the Snipping Tool, Touch Keyboard, Voice Typing, Emoji Panel, Getting started and Tips, as well as other areas, the company issued an out-of-band update to iron them out.

Windows 11 features, including Snipping Tool and touch keyboard, are no longer working for some users, due to an expired certificate issue, Microsoft has informed through a support document. The exact number of Windows 11 users impacted as a result of the problem has not been revealed.
