Integrated Train Testing Centre News Today

SINGAPORE: The construction of a high-speed MRT train test track at a facility in Tuas – the first of its kind in South-east Asia – has been completed.

The new trains will have ergonomic perch seats to accommodate more commuters, as well as more open spaces for strollers and wheelchair users. 

Singapore’s LTA is building a new dedicated railway testing and research facility. Kevin Smith visited the construction site.

Robert Preston spoke to Simon Jones of GCRE about the testing and innovation centre which is now under construction in South Wales.

Global Centre of Rail Excellence (GCRE) is inviting investors to take an equity stake in its business that is developing a testing centre in South Wales.

Construction is more than 50% complete on a new rolling stock test and research facility that LTA is building in the west of Singapore.
