Heavy rain and gusty winds are expected late this weekend as a cold front moves through New Hampshire.

40/29 Chief Meteorologist Darby Bybee says we should expect warmer and windier conditions over the next several days.

It will be relatively quiet weather-wise the next few days for the Granite State, but things change very late this weekend.

Even cooler on Wednesday with highs in the upper 40s to near 50. Showers will be possible during the first half of the day. Winds will ramp up late Wednesday in Thursday.

Tracking gradually warming temperatures for the rest of the week and into the weekend. Showers, storms and wind will be likely on Sunday.

Mostly clear and cool overnight. Temperatures will fall into the upper 30s to near 40. Plenty of sunshine to kick off the day Tuesday. Expect highs in the low to mid 50s.

Rain, wintry mix and snow continued to fall as the Monday morning commute got underway.

A storm with wintry precipitation will arrive starting Sunday afternoon. A winter storm watch has been issued for Coos and northern Carroll counties from Sunday afternoon through Monday morning.
