Area happened in garland. i just got off the phone with the mayor pro tem tells me dozens of people are without power. dozens of people had to spend the night in shelters box theres no places to go. the mayor said they are coping here. the red cross is helping with shelters. theyre getting a lot of help from the emergency management team. like that one resident thats come back, its heartbreaking to see when you have everything thats precious to you lost. many of these people dont have insurance....
