According to a new report by Bloomberg citing people familiar with Apple’s plans, the company is looking to host a launch event on March 8.

Apple is expected to launch the iPhone SE 3 at a starting price of Rs 40,000. Though some reports suggest that it could be priced at Rs 22,500.

A recent report stated that the upcoming Apple event will “feature a range of minor updates or complementary products”. Besides the affordable iPhone model, the US-based tech giant is likely to unveil a new iPad Air and a new Mac.

Apple’s upcoming iPhone SE model, that is the iPhone SE 2022, will be called iPhone SE+ 5G and that it will come with a 4.7-inch LCD display.

IPhone SE (2022) is tipped to be called the iPhone SE+ 5G. Separately, the iPad Air (5th generation) is said to come alongside the new iPhone SE. Apple is also rumoured to unveil its new regular iPad later this year.

According to a report, Apple plans to launch two iPhone SE smartphones in three years, starting in 2022. The iPhone SE Plus will arrive first, but a larger model will remain in development until 2024. Only then will the iPhone SE series receive noticeable upgrades, too.
