Apr 11, 2021 08:00 EDT with 13 comments When Lenovo refreshed its ThinkPad X1 family back in January, it added a new ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga to its lineup. Honestly, at the time, I didnt know that I should be so excited about it. Sure, its a ThinkPad X1 Yoga but with titanium materials and a 3:2 screen, right? But its so much more than that. This thing is an absolute delight and has quickly become my favorite convertible. In fact, this is part of a larger family of devices from Le...

Here Comes Surface Laptop 4 All signs are pointing to a virtual Surface event sometime soon, and now Microsoft’s support website notes the existence of Surface Laptop 4. Which has not yet been formally announced. The support pages were first spotted by Walking Cat on Twitter, as is so often the case, and they’re just placeholders for now. But they confirm that Surface Laptop 4 will come in both Intel and AMD variants, just like Surface Laptop 3. Rumors suggest that the AMD processors will b...

For example, we all expected it to be called the Surface Pro 8, and then when it wasnt, it wasnt really clear why, being that the Pro 7+ actually has more significant improvements than some other Surface Pro upgrades weve seen. First of all, theres the spec bump, going from Intels 10th-gen Ice Lake processors to 11th-gen Tiger Lake,...

Feb 21, 2021 08:00 EST · Hot! with 5 comments The story on the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Nano is that it weighs in at 1.99 pounds. Thats the headline. Its the fifth entry into the current ThinkPad X1 lineup, which is reserved for the best of the best, and its all about being compact, thin, and light. It was announced back in September, but now its finally hitting shelves. Typically, a laptop that weighs under two pounds comes with some serious compromises, using a Y-series proc...

While its made out of a magnesium alloy, it doesnt look or feel cheap like we see from its competition. The last one I reviewed came in this pretty blue chassis with gold accents. The new one that Acer sent me has the same gold accents, but the color is called Mist Green. Its beautiful. In fact, green and gold is one of my favorite color combinations for products. See...
