Krystal . We are beginning with cloudy conditions across the region. We have a lot of misting going on. Misting is occurring because we have moisture pretty high right now in our air. That combined with the fact temperatures have lowered a bit means the dew point is matching. Fog and mist at the ground. Though thats not showing up on radar, it was so fine. It was making everything damp outside. Look at the temperatures. Were at 66 in philadelphia and 68 in millville. Even though 60s further north and west. Were starting out a little on the warmer side especially for this time of year. As we go along into the afternoon hours that will allow for a warmer afternoon, too. Yesterday beautiful in the afternoon. Temperatures were in the 70s. Today some of us will make our way to the low 80s. Lets look at the conditions the next few hours. Start to our morning but actually we have a good bit of clouds in place, a lot of low clouds and some patchy fog this morning. Thats why you cant see it on our satellite returns. We have areas of misting which seems like a fine rain. It has, in part to do with the fact the fog is in place so when you have that moisture content so densely packed in the air, you can see the water kind of collecting on the windshield as you drive this morning but just if youre driving early on. As the hours progress the temperature warms and well get rid of the fog. Were at 66 degrees in philadelphia and 65 in mt. Holly. 65 in wilmington and 64 in allentown.
