<p><span>Grant Thornton Audit Pty Ltd (</span><span>Grant Thornton</span><span>) and former Grant Thornton director Bradley Laurance Willot Taylor have today appeared in the Melbourne Magistrates Court charged with failing to conduct the 2018 audit of iSignthis Ltd (ASX:ISX) in accordance with the Australian Auditing Standards. iSignthis changed its name to Southern Cross Payments Ltd (ASX:SP1) in May 2022.</span></p>

The accounting firm faces five charges under the Corporations Act and more than $250,000 in fines.
