they were definitely not advisor level, trump tower type inner circle figures. that is one thing people are consistent about during the campaign, but i think the idea of them being the coffee boy, we re starting to find out information that says it was, tfrs more than that. joyce, what do you make of the strategy then where mueller has started at the top with manafort and at the bottom possibly with papadopoulos, what do you make of his strategy and where it leads? so one of the hallmarks of a good prosecutor is that you don t delay a case when it s ready to indict. and i think that s what we re seeing here. the manafort case, that piece of the case was ready to move forward. and it s clear that mueller has established different teams within the special counsel s operation, we see different lawyers signing off on the manafort indictment than we saw on the papadopoulos line of case. and so those teams, although there may have been a little bit of coordination here, i think that they
radicalized here at home? well, in terms of the prosecution of the case, nothing. but, obviously, every time something like this happens, the investigators, the whole country really wants to know, well, what led up to this because are lessons to be learned there, channels to be shut down, you know, potentially if there was people overseas involved in this attack, the government could reach out and try to arrest and prosecute them as well. in terms of prosecuting him, the case against him, it s not a big issue. and i should say, by the way, that you mentioned isis has claimed credit for this. this is a departure from the normal isis practice. they don t usually claim credit for an attack when it doesn t end in the get of an attacker. when someone is arrested, they usually don t say anything. pete williams, thank you very much. you bet. senator elizabeth warren reacts to claims the dnc was fixed in favor of hillary clinton during the 2016 primary. what does she think?
