Six more recipients of this year’s IW Foundation grant have been named – taking the total amount of cash given out by the charitable organisation to well over £800,000 since 2014.

Ability Dogs 4 Young People, the charity that has been training assistance dogs for people with disabilities on the Island since 2012, has unveiled important new features at its Lake HQ.

Local charities and good causes are being invited to apply for a share of £80,000 from the Isle of Wight Foundation.

The Isle of Wight Foundation has donated over £92,000 to nine local organisations working to tackle social exclusion this year, bringing the total awarded since 2014 to more than £700,000

Two more good causes have between them received nearly £13,000 from the Isle of Wight Foundation to support building projects that help their work to tackle social exclusion on the Island.
