With only five days remaining until the elections on May 29, Limpopo police are fully prepared to ensure safety and security. They are determined not to tolerate any lawlessness during this highly anticipated event.

While the ANC top five in Limpopo displayed a united front during a press briefing yesterday, voting delegates supporting the two rival slates were holding “cadre assemblies” to try to do some final lobbying.

The event has been delayed after angry Youth League National Youth Task Team members blocked the gate, accusing organisers of distributing accreditation to the event according to factional favour.
