The extreme weather. right now looking at showers and sleet and snow mixing in. thats the bright colors around minneapolis. and a rough go of it along i-90 and i-94. the midsection of this system later on this afternoon. places like omaha, into des moines, and lingering into chicago could see severe thunderstorms, including the threat of tornadoes. and on the tail end of that storm, were going to see really strong winds gusting as much as 50 miles per hour. so theres a critical fire danger today...

And then on the southern tail of this thing, its kicking in the wind. were talking about gusts probably up to 50 to 60 miles per hour, and a critical fire conditions. so if youre traveling today, chicago we think that will be one of the worst airports in the nation with delays. minneapolis and detroit problems, a few winds for you there, new york city, minor delays expected. dallas and denver as well as san francisco and the west coast is going to see another big storm hitting later on tonight. ...
