Aquinnah voters go to the polls today to cast ballots in the annual town election — including a final vote on the housing bank and deciding a race for the board of health. Polls are open from noon to 8 p.m. in the old town hall.

Aquinnah voters will wrap up the political season on the Vineyard next week when they gather for their annual town meeting and election, deciding on an array of spending measures, including two budget overrides and a package of cutting-edge alternative energy initiatives.

Aquinnah voters head to annual town meeting on Tuesday, May 10, at 6:30 pm at the town hall.  One item on the warrant article is electronic voting systems, to be used during town meetings.
