Men being held in Ada County indicted for murder in the death of Juliaetta man in March

Two men suspected in a pair of murders in March in north central Idaho were indicted Wednesday in one of the cases.

Alleged Aryan Knights Skylar Meade and Nicholas Umphenour are facing first-degree murder charges after a wild police chase and daring prison escape in Idaho.

NEZ PERCE, ID -- Idaho State Police says Skyler Meade and Nicholas Umphenour have been formally indicted for the death of 83-year-old James Mauney in March.

A Nez Perce County grand jury on Tuesday indicted two Boise men for the March murder of 83-year-old James Mauney after they fled a shootout with prison guards.

The footage — which wasn’t played in court — showed Skylar Meade being escorted out of the hospital’s emergency room department by three correction officers.

There are still eight suspects that IDOC is looking to capture.
