James Troy of Athens died Thursday morning when his Ford F-150 pickup truck crashed into a ditch on Chapman Ridge Road, according to the Somerset County Sheriff's Office.

The crash was reported at about 9:30 on Thursday morning.

James Troy, 65, was driving his pickup truck south on Chapman Ridge Road when he left the road and crashed into a ditch.

Police said he was not wearing a seatbelt.
