Lightly raced as a two-year-old, Jet Hill rocketed on the scene in 2023, winning two-thirds of his starts on his way to being named Ohio’s Three-Year-Old Trotting Colt of the Year.

The final day of racing at Miami Valley Raceway will mark the opening of the 2023 Ohio Sires Stakes action.

Velocity Lady (Brady Galliers) scorched the Miami Valley oval in 1:50.2 beating Ocean Music (Dan Noble) and Single Girl (Tyler Smith) in the $34,000 Mares Open Handicap on Thursday (April 27).

McSeaside, the defending Ohio Sires Stakes champion following a freshman season when she banked $295,614, passed her first major test in her sophomore season winning the $50,000 James K. Hackett Memorial for three-year-old pacing fillies at Miami Valley on Tuesday (April 25). 

After being limited to three starts last season, Dynamite Dylan exploded on the scene at Miami Valley Raceway this month by breaking his maiden with a 1:50.4 win in the first start of his sophomore campaign and following with a victory last week in his elimination of the James K. Hackett Memorial.
