Five died in the line of duty in 2023

The funeral visitation and a public service for fallen Chicago firefighter Andrew Price will take place at the Navy Pier Grand Ballroom.

Firefighters like Andrew Price, and three others who died this year, chose to enter a career that they knew might involve risking their lives for others. How many of the rest of us would do the same?

The procession will travel from the morgue, at 2121 W. Harrison St. to the Drake & Son Funeral home, located at 5303 N. Western Ave.
