When the expansion of St. Michael Parish cemetery was imminent in 2004, John R. Nelson, then a Bolton resident, came to the rescue. Upon the untimely death of his wife, Judith, in 2004, her burial was in the Hudson cemetery, and Nelson and his sons helped to plan and realize the cemetery expansion.
