New England colleges and universities are seeing a rise in more female presidents and leaders of color

BOSTON -- Following a comprehensive nationwide search, Emmanuel College announced June 28 that Mary K. Boyd has been named the school's 13th president.

Since the spring, Father Andrea Filippucci has been on loan to the Diocese of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. And now, Father Victor Vitug will be joining him to work at St. Joseph's Parish on St. Croix. So, they both came to meet with me last Friday.

BOSTON -- At their first in-person gathering since 2019, the Catholic Schools Foundation surpassed its fundraising goal, raising a record $4 million at the 32nd annual Building Minds Scholarship Fund celebration, which was held on April 7 at the Boston Marriott Copley Place.
