Janice Laing: “There isn’t an area of our industry which will be untouched by the current – and growing – levels of vulnerability amongst consumers.
SimplyBiz will be working with the Independent Financial Vulnerability Taskforce to tackle what the firm has described as a ‘vulnerability epidemic’.
By pairing with the taskforce, SimplyBiz will encourage its firms to commit to the taskforce s nine-point charter.
Some of the charter s points include acknowledging service often involve the application of specialist financial knowledge, recognising that vulnerability can manifest itself in different ways and understanding that language and terminology is important.
