A man was caught on security cameras stealing keys that were forgotten by the homeowner in their front door.

Lincoln and Lancaster County Crime Stoppers are working to solve two separate crimes that involve two major retail chains along Yankee Hill Road in south Lincoln.

A thievish trio plundered a Lincoln apartment complex's mail room in December. 

Jared Minary, a forensic video technician with the Lincoln Police Department, said Lincoln Crime Stoppers posted 732 cases and received over 1,500 tips last year.

In 2021, nearly half of the cases shared by Crime Stoppers were solved, and that's only part of the story.

With the chill in the air and the browning of the leaves, it is officially spooky season and per usual haunted houses are on the to-do list.
