Four U of A mock trial teams — Spaghetti, Fettucine, Lasagna and Tortellini — competed in Texas and Oklahoma, turning out strong individual ranks with Team Fettucine winning the Arlington regionals.

The U of A Undergraduate Mock Trial team traveled to Memphis, Tennessee, to compete in the National Championship tournament hosted by Rhodes College.

M Po-Lin Pan, professor of strategic communication at Arkansas State University, has been elected president of the Southwest Education Council for Journalism and Mass Communication.
