Tropical Storm Arlene in the Gulf is back down to a depression and will continue to fall apart over the next day or so.

High pressure will yield another nice day under mostly sunny skies.

Now that we are in the wake of a weak cold front, clouds will stick around today, but at least temperatures will be held in check.

Even though there is a cold front expected to move through Sunday, our rain chances this weekend appear limited.

A summer feel is in the air by way of hot temperatures and humid conditions. Temperatures will be well above normal for the week ahead.

We’ll close out the month of April with just under eight inches of rain at BTR airport in Baton Rouge.

If you have outdoor Saturday plans, you may need to move them indoors.

Today definitely won’t be nearly as nice of a weather day as yesterday.

Now that we’re in the wake of last night’s cold front, we look forward to more sunshine Saturday.
