Henry Hughes scored 25 points as Ridgefield boys basketball earned a 69-37 road win over Fort Vancouver on the first night of 2A Greater St. Helens League play.

There was no stopping W.F. West of Chehalis, but the Fort Vancouver bowling team gave the Bearcats a good run.
