The Montreal dance producer Lunice is best-known as one half of TNGHT, his duo with Hudson Mohawke. TNGHT went inactive for a long time, but they’ve been back to making music together in the past few years. Now, Lunice is announcing a new solo album called Open. This is only Lunice’s second solo album, and it’s been six years since CCCLX, his first. But judging by first single “No Commas,” Lunice’s music hasn’t lost any of its propulsive energy.
