Mumbai Sessions Court on Saturday granted anticipatory bail to advocate Jayshree Patil in the case relating to Maharashtra Transport Department workers' protest outside the residence of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar.
Lawyer Jayshree Patil, wife of advocate Gunaratna Sadavarte, has been named as an accused by police in connection with the MSRTC protest outside Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar's residence here, an official said on Thursday.
The police have so far arrested 116 persons, including main accused lawyer Gunaratna Sadavarte, in connection with the agitation staged by striking MSRTC workers at Pawar's residence Silver Oak at Pedder Road here on April 8.

MUMBAI: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday recorded a statement of advocate Jayshree Patil in connection with a money laundering case registered against former Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh, sources said.
The agency had summoned Patil on Tuesday, and accordingly she appeared around 11 am at the ED office here where her statement was recorded for around four hours, they said.
