The Adult Leadership Guernsey group hosted the Rescue Rally in the Valley event to raise money for a LUCAS device for the Cambridge Fire Department.

Cambridge Fire Chief Jeff Deeks wants to share information regarding the levy with city residents .

"There is never a good time to ask our voters to approve a new levy," Chief Jeff Deeks said. "But with the critical stage we are in, we need to try."

Area first responders are assisting emergency efforts in other parts of the country.

Mayor also said trick or treat will be held Monday, Oct. 31 and the fall cleanup day will take place Saturday, Oct. 22.

The three-day long program consisted of two full classroom training days that took place at the Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center.
