Remembering Lawrence Zubia of Pistoleros, an Arizona music legend Ed Masley, Arizona Republic Lawrence Zubia, the charismatic frontman whose voice and presence helped make Pistoleros major players on the Mill Avenue scene that made Tempe a musical hotbed in the 90s, died the morning of Saturday, Dec. 19.
