Dozens of community supporters have joined forces with Restore Hope Ministries to prepare and distribute some 400 Thanksgiving baskets to families in need.

$750,000 are being funneled into organizations across Green Country to help people on the brink of homelessness find a place to live.

Timia Richardson sat alone in a wooden chair on the sixth floor of Oklahoma County Courthouse as the hall started to fill with people arriving for their eviction cases.

Since December 2020, the state has received $485 million in federal emergency funds to help those at risk of eviction or having utilities cut off, according to the U.S. Treasury. Yet thousands of Oklahomans have been evicted.

The city of Tulsa will host an in-person application station for the Emergency Rental Assistance Program on Dec. 21.
