Barry Morphew, 55, the husband of Suzanne Morphew filed a civil rights lawsuit seeking $15 million claiming he was wrongfully charged with the Colorado moms disappearance and murder.

DENVER – Barry Morphew sued investigators, prosecutors and other government officials Tuesday for allegedly violating his constitutional rights in their court case that accused him of murdering his missing wife.

Suzanne Morphew is still missing, but the case still haunts attorneys on both sides.

"I figured all these other guys are cheating," he told an FBI agent who confronted him about the ballot, according to court documents.

A Colorado man allegedly forged a ballot in his presumed dead wife's name to cast a vote for former President Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election.

A haggard-looking Barry Morphew, 53, appeared in court in Salida, Colorado, via video link on Thursday for sentencing having already agreed a plea deal with prosecutors.
