A joint effort by the Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals staff and the Nebraska racing community brought the thrill of the race to patients on Tuesday afternoon.

"What we're trying to do is really create motivation for them to really work harder and do more."

Tuesday, patients at the Lincoln campus had the chance to get out of their rooms and check out some souped-up cars, all while working in a little physical therapy.
