Underground pipelines that carry hazardous materials in Minnehaha County will need to be 330 feet from dwellings, churches and businesses.

Minnehaha County Commission successfully passed an ordinance to regulate CO2 and other pipelines in the county, but it wasnt without compromise.

The county commission had deadlocked in previous vote in the absence of Chairperson Jean Bender, who voted in favor of less distance on Tuesday.

The vehicle, which features heated seats and remote start, was bought prior to commission approval of its nearly $32,000 price tag.
