Jera Kiespert, principal of Roosevelt Elementary, has been awarded the James Burnett Principal of Distinction honor by the Oklahoma Association of Elementary School Principals. Jera will be recognized during the Cooperative Council for Oklahoma School Administration (CCOSA) Summer Leadership Conference in June.

Starting June 6 through June 29th, Principal Jera Kiespert will lead Elementary Summer School at Union Elementary, located at 2617 N. Union St., Ponca City.

The annual Teacher of the Year reception and celebration will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. A reception will be held at 6 p.m.
