Reactions to Wentzville superintendent’s $1 million buyout were mixed on Thursday, including at least one board member expressing frustration with the amount.

Danielle Tormala became superintendent in July 2022, replacing Curtis Cain who took the top job in Rockwood School District.

Parents say while the Wentzville Board of Education is making decisions to cease contact tracing and the state leaders are taking action against the districts, they are left to figure out what to do.
