Sixto Peralta was back in training yesterday as Towns players involved themselves in a few games of badminton. Peralta missed out against Aston Villa on Saturday due to his persistent thigh strain.

Town continued their return to form with a win over Paul Bracewells Fulham. A late goal from substitute Martijn Reuser on his debut was enough to see Town hold onto second spot as Manchester City and Birmingham both came from behind to win.

Town are hopeful that Sixto Peralta and Jermaine Wright will be fit enough for Saturdays increasingly crucial game against West Ham. Peralta is still suffering with his thigh strain while Wrights groin is again troubling him.

Town boss Joe Royle says that less talented players than Jermaine Wright have played for England. However, Royle feels the 28-year-old ought to be scoring more goals.

Town dropped into the bottom three after narrowly failing to break the deadlock in an exciting 0-0 at Portman Road. The Blues were the better side for the majority of the match, but Peter Schmeichels leg and a post prevented the Blues getting the three points, although Matteo Sereni made two fine saves in the later stages.
