After hosting two previous Wild and Scenic Film Festivals, Greenspace was presented with the opportunity to have its story shared on a national tour.
Taking full advantage of the opportunity, Greenspace partnered with Sampley Brothers Production Co. to create the film, âA Community Conservation Effort,â which covers the organizationâs history from its inception in 1974 to becoming Kentuckyâs first Urban Trail Town.
According to a recent news release, the film debuted nationwide Jan. 14 in Nevada City, California, and virtually across the nation.
In its first month of a two-year run, the film already has been shown by the Pennsylvania Environmental Council in Pittsburgh, in California, and New Jersey. According to the release, the hope is to bring the film to the Historic State Theater next spring as COVID-19 restrictions ease with expanded vaccinations.
