"I attended the celebration earlier this month at the Seymour Center for the upcoming dismantling of the 85-foot blue whale skeleton there, expecting to see the support structure under it crumbling into rusty powder and clearly looking like a safety threat, as has been widely stated," writes Jim Christmann.
