Retailers are hoping to profit from the release of Barbies latest film by selling a broad range of products linked to the plastic doll, from Barbie Crocs to hotel suites and suitcases. Consumers have generally trimmed their spending amid a squeeze on living costs, leading store owners to encourage them to buy more expensive items to boost revenues.
