Towns U18s are in the spotlight this Saturday when they take on Watford in the rescheduled FA Youth Cup fifth round tie against Watford at Portman Road (KO 3pm). The first team match against Burnley is off as the Clarets are facing Arsenal in the FA Cup.

Towns U18 side recorded their second consecutive win of pre-season with a 3-2 win over Brentford at Playford Road on Tuesday afternoon.

Towns U18s staged an incredible comeback in the last 10 minutes to defeat QPR 5-3 at Loftus Road in the third round of the FA Youth Cup. The young Blues were 3-1 down with 10 minutes left but went goal crazy to cement their place in round four, Jordan Rhodes grabbing a hat-trick.

Town have offered a two-year academy scholarship to 15-year-old striker Craig Calver. Back in the summer Calver scored a hat-trick for the U15s in a 3-0 victory over the San Diego Nomads at the Milk Cup tournament in Northern Ireland.
