Minestrone Soup alla Victory
16 oz crushed tomatoes
Bundle of escarole
1. Chop squash, zucchini, carrots, and onion.
2. Sautée chopped vegetables in the EVOO until tender.
2. In your stock pot combine the chicken stock, sautéed vegetables, beans, crushed tomatoes, pepper, and salt
3. Simmer for an hour to an hour and a half
4. Add fresh peas and escarole, simmer for another 10-15 minutes.
5. Serve with fresh grated parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper.

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Doylestown, announces the winners of its Christmas in Doylestown Drive-By House Tour. Residents of Harvey Avenue in Doylestown won the Best Neighborhood competition by decorating their street as Candy Cane Lane. At their request, St. Paul’s has donated $500 to the Doylestown Community Food Pantry (via the Bucks County Housing Group: www.bchg.org).
Lisa and Joe Farina won the Best House decoration competition. At the Farina’s request, St. Paul’s has donated $500 to the Fiaria Project which supports foster families through transitions (www.fiaria.org).
