Colleagues reported the sergeant and four PCs for the inappropriate messages. The officers are part of a crack anti-crime team in Bournemouth. They were suspended in July.

Two officers are sacked and four more told they would have been if they had not already left.

They were all found to have breached police standards of professional behaviour.
