The Ohio National Guard is now working in 13 state prisons after a jump in positive COVID-19 among staff members over the past month. Through Thursday, the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction reported 3,021 staff members had tested positive for COVID-19 to date, with 624 still positive and 2,390 who had recovered from the disease.
