First Friday Art Walk Sequim’s color theme for March is green — with glowing lights to celebrate our Sequim sunshine even at night.

Local artists Marilyn Hiestand and John Bertholl help the Blue Whole Gallery prep for a change in the season with “Here Comes Spring!,” the new exhibit coming in March.

SEQUIM — Among the attractions of August’s First Friday Sequim Art Walk will be a special quilt show at the Sequim Museum &Arts.

Fueled by motivating sunshine, the theme color for the First Friday Sequim Art Walk in August is yellow! The positive intensity of yellow represents expressive enthusiasm, joyful happiness, cheerful friendships, and empowers collective generosity, goodwill and integrity.

A high point for local youths each summer, the 4-H Horse Show and Fair Qualifier celebrated high point winners and other participants July 7-9 at the Clallam County Fairgrounds.

John Bertholl and Doc Pangborn, featured artists in the Blue Whole Gallery’s “Catching the Drift of Nature” exhibit, will present their unique forms of nature-themed art in the front windows at 129 W. Washington St.
