Hello i wanted to call your attention tonight to important object that we actually have in this room. This is a fragment of a hessian miter cap from the fusileers on nip of hersey castle. It was discovered, among other fragments of these in the Delaware River in, the early 20th century, and some research by craig nanos and others has pretty well establish that it was lost when a troop transport went under in may of human march of 1778 in the Delaware River, and no one drowned all of the soldiers on board survived.
