On its front page, the ft says the pm could know by the weekend whether the eu is willing to engage with his proposal to resolve the irish border issue. And the times says borisjohnson will ask the European Union to rule out a further extension to article 50 as part of any new brexit deal. The metro goes with the newws that the bbc director general, tony hall, to reverse a decision to partially uphold a complaint against breakfast presenter Naga Munchetty.
